The research instrument consisted of observation sheets to observe student learning activities, rubrics to assess students' skills in using CAD, and tests. Research respondents were students of grade XIth at Vocational High School No.1 West Sumatera. T he study was carried out in two cycles, in which each cycle consisted of two meetings. This study aims to show the application of assessment for learning can improve learning activities and student learning outcomes.
